Branding

Positively Wellington Tourism is coordinating the city theming for Rugby World Cup 2011 with the region’s councils and Rugby New Zealand 2011.  This activity will include street flags, retailer window displays, taxi flags, banner advertising and billboards etc.  More details will be available in early 2011.

Funding available for events

If you're thinking of running a public event as part of next year’s nationwide Rugby World Cup festival you can now apply for lotteries funding. Funding can go towards management and operating costs, artists’ fees, publicity and production costs. Applications close on 17 September. More information about the fund.
